The 83, 83S is a no-frills, no-nonsense workhorse of a magazine holder, a valuable companion for use with all Horseshoe holsters. There is no rake, and it can be made for both single-stack and double-stack magazines. As with all Horseshoe holders, bullets forward is the standard configuration. To save you from the ravages of sharp edges and other pointy bits on magazines, the rear protective tab option, as for holsters, is available (S in product designation denotes no rear protective tab).
