Model 28X, 28XS (Crossdraw) belongs to the same family of holsters as the Model 28, based on the classic wraparound concept. However, it has a slight muzzle forward rake, which makes it ideal for use as a crossdraw holster. In keeping with holsters of this design, it too has a stabilising slot which, combined with a stitched rear belt flap, eliminates lateral movement and allows for positive positioning over a trouser belt-loop, pulling the weapon close into the body for optimum concealment. Bonded sight rails are standard and the mouth is leather reinforced for one-handed re-holstering.
This makes it particularly suitable for wide-bodied autos (Glock, Sigma, etc.). There are many crossdraw holsters available on the market, but few can equal this one for performance.The rear protective tab option is available (S in holster model designation denotes NO protective tab).
